Display Options is on the Window menu. Display Options lets you turn on or off various display elements of the active MORE window. When you choose Display Options, MORE presents a dialog box with the following options:
Wrap to Fit Window Automatically wraps text to fit the size of the outline window. When this box is not checked, text wraps to the size of the printed page, and resizing the window does not affect the way text wraps.
Structure Symbols Displays structure symbols beside headlines. Structure symbols do not print.
Hidden Characters Displays carriage returns, spaces, and tabs on the screen. These symbols do not print.
Mark Color Click on the Mark Color box to display color choices for marked headlines. Marked headlines remain in this color until gathered. Choose Custom Color on the pop-up menu to access the Color Pattern Editor and customize the marked color. Mark Color is not available on machines other than the Macintosh II with a color monitor.
Graphics Display The following check boxes affect display elements in tree and bullet charts:
Show Grid Lines Displays grid lines in bullet and tree charts to position objects more easily.
Show Sizes Displays the size numbers and locations on the grid associated with creating new draw objects or sizing and dragging existing objects. It is also available in a tree chart view.
Show Rulers Displays the top and side rulers on tree and bullet chart windows.
Ruler Color Colors the rulers in the bullet chart and tree chart views. Choose Custom Color on the pop-up menu to access the Color Pattern Editor and customize the ruler color. Ruler Color is available only on the Macintosh II with a color monitor.
Window Tiling The following check boxes affect the display elements of MORE windows in outline, tree, and bullet chart views:
Leave Room for Finder Icons opens and zooms windows so that they do not overlay the Finder icons at the right of the screen. This is especially handy if you’re using MultiFinder.
Zoom to Main Screen Moves the active window to the main monitor if you’re using more than one monitor. Deselecting this box makes zooming of the active window occur on the screen where it’s currently displayed. (If you’re using only one monitor, this box is unavailable and dimmed.)
